What you can settle without going to the consulate

  • Issue the Brazilian criminal record certificate on the Federal Police website, without the consulate.
  • Do the INSS proof of life by biometrics in the Meu INSS and gov.br apps.
  • Get a US document apostilled by the Secretary of State of the state that issued it.

If your city is not in the table, the office is the same: the jurisdiction covers the whole state.
